Half Way Done My Shows!!
Ottawa Shows!!! There are lots of them
Ack! I have 8 upcoming Ottawa shows (and counting)!! It’s amazing. I hope I have enough stuff to sell. I’m staying close to home this year and loading up on local shows. I’m really excited to try out all these shows. Normally I’m away for 2 weeks in Toronto and the idea of doing a bunch of Ottawa shows before and after is too exhausting. But this year I’m not leaving town and I feel so good about it. Instead I’m shipping my work off to Toronto galleries to have them sell my wares for me. Check out my upcoming show tab to see where to find me or my work.
Etsy Made in Canada!!
This weekend I’ll be at Etsy Made in Canada in Kanata, organized by Emily and Brad from Handmade Harvest. I love working with these guys, they put on some great shows and are truly lovely people. At this point I feel very unprepared, so I’m going to stop blogging and start making.

Getting back in the studio
Spring is here (sorta) and it’s time for me to hustle and get back into the studio. I work in a 3 season space, so working in the winter is challenging and requires a lot of space heaters. Tonight I’m trying to figure out what to make for my summer shows. It’s always hard to gauge what will be popular but I don’t want to be under prepared for Toronto Outdoor Art, so I’ll make as much as I can before I have to leave. First up, inventory and list making!

Handmade Harvest and beyond
Ack, it’s time for handmade harvest already!! How did that happen? It’s almost May!! I’ll be at Handmade Harvest in Almonte on Saturday May 3rd. The fun continues on Sunday with a different batch of awesome craft people. I didn’t think it was going to happen, but I think I’ll actually have some new work finished by then. Sadly I will not have my new booth display done, but the old set up is good enough. The following I’ll be doing will be The New Art Festival in June. I should have lots of new stuff for that show. New resins and new prints!! Then I’m off to Toronto in July for Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition.
Urban Craft – Spring Show 2014!
And so it begins, the 2014 craft show season. This year is all about staying close to home for me, and Urban Craft could not be much closer. I could walk there with all my stuff in a wagon if I had to. I’m really excited to be back at this show. I had a great time last year and met some awesome Ottawa based crafters.
