One of a Kind wrap up

We’re back home and slowly getting back to our daily routine.  One of a kind ended this year a bit bitter sweet, as I have decided not to return next year.  It’s a big ordeal to drag my whole family to Toronto for 2 weeks.  Little sir is quite the trouper and I know he loves flirting with all the customers and vendors.  By the end of the show, he had his routine of who’s booth he’d run to to say hi.  Jana from Swaine Street Woodworking won his heart early on through his stomach. I know he’ll miss her a lot.  But it’s hard for me to focus on his well being and the show and it can be a little over whelming.  Perhaps I’ll come back in a few years.  We have so many friends we’ve met through the show and I’ll really miss seeing them and meeting new ones.  Next winter I’m going to focus my efforts closer to home and do a lot of shows in Ottawa, and hopefully one or two in Montreal (if they’ll have me).  And hopefully I’ll have some work in Galleries around the GTA for people in Toronto to buy.  Thanks OOAK, I had a blast doing the show for 4 years.  It had been a dream of mine to get in for many years, before I even became a photographer, and I’ll miss it.
